Intimacy is the feeling of trusting someone else so much that you allow them to peek inside your heart and see who is truly there. Intimacy also means feeling totally safe with and loved by someone, so there isn't any parts of you that you have to hide or deny. We're all intimate to different degrees with our friends and family.
